Who are we? Who are we?The Association of Users of Research Agencies (AURA) was founded in the 1960s as a forum for the exchange of experience and points of view by a group of researchers in organisations commissioning market research. In the new millennium - with changing roles for clientside researchers, who are now being called on to manage insight and drive action - AURA is working to upweight its strategic intent and insight muscle without limiting ease and closeness. Its membership is drawn from a wide range of organisations - from large corporations, to small businesses, from FMCG to manufacturing and service industries. There are currently around 130 member companies. Membership is open to clientside researchers / insight professionals who should also be members of a professional body such as the Market Research Society, ESOMAR, CIM, AQR or the SRA. It is not open to employees of market research agencies or consultants who work exclusively for agencies. What are our aims?In a phrase - Research, Insight, Knowledge!
