Science fiction writer Isaac Asimov wrote β€œIt is easy to predict an automobile in 1880; it is very hard to predict a traffic problem.”

His point was that real foresight means looking beyond the obvious consequences of what we see happening in the world. Instead, so-called system-based thinking encourages us to keep asking β€œ… and then what?”.

In this practical session, we'll be joined by Stefan Schafer, Direct at Incite.  He'll share examples of unexpected winners and losers that system-based thinking helps to explain, and suggest a way for teams to apply system-based thinking to their own situation and get a little better at seeing the future.
